The Board of Directors of Lanarkshire Ice Rink Plc are delighted to announce, following the First Minister's statement on the 22nd of September and after receiving further confirmation from SportScotland, that the Rink will open for Curling on Monday 28th September.
The first competition will be the annual Opening Bonspiel at 2.30pm. This is already fully subscribed with many staying for a meal after the game.
One immediate result of the First Minister's statement is that, for the foreseeable future, Curlers playing in the 8.10 session will NOT be allowed to enter the Lounge Bar after their game.
